Hilary Baldwin is a board-certified dermatologist and medical director of the Acne Treatment & Research Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is a clinical associate professor of dermatologist at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center.Dr. Baldwin has interests in acne, rosacea, keloidal scarring, cosmeceuticals and the skin microbiome. She is a frequent national and international lecturer and visiting professor, and her work has been published extensively in dermatology journals.Dr. Baldwin served as a founding board member and second president of the American Acne and Rosacea Society.
Dr. James Q. Del Rosso, DO, FAOCD, FAAD, was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended pharmacy school at St. John's University in Jamaica, New York. He completed a hospital pharmacy residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Del Rosso graduated from medical school at Ohio University with honors and then completed his approved dermatology residency at the Atlantic Skin Disease Association in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He additionally completed a fellowship approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Ohio State. Dr. Del Rosso is board certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery and is fully licensed in the State of Nevada.
Dr. Del Rosso is an internationally renowned educator and speaker with several publications in recognized dermatology journals. He is a frequently invited presenter at major dermatology meetings in both the United States and globally, often talking about what is new in therapeutics and drug development. Additionally, he has written and published several articles on a variety of skin diseases including proper care of the skin barrier, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and eczemas, actinic keratosis, and skin cancers. He is also the co-editor of the textbook, Acne Vulgaris.
He is a past president of the American Acne & Rosacea Society, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Clinical Aesthetic Dermatology since its inception in 2005. He has also authored several recognized publications on guidelines for management of acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and skin cancer.
He founded the Scientific Panel for Antibiotic Use in Dermatology in 2005, with three meetings and scientific publications authored by the group under his direction to guide clinicians on optimal antibiotic use.
Dr. Del Rosso is research director and principal investigator of JDR Dermatology Research, in addition to having his dermatology clinic that is fully dedicated to the care of people with skin disorders or have concerns about their skin. The research center conducts studies for a wide variety of skin conditions, such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczemas, urticaria, actinic keratosis, and skin cancer. Dr. Del Rosso has over 25 years of experience in dermatology research and related publications, and he employs a high experienced and skilled staff. Dr. Del Rosso is in dermatology practice at Thomas Dermatology in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has been practicing dermatology in the Las Vegas area for 20 years. Dr. Del Rosso was the recipient of a lifetime achievement award by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) in March 2016 for his lifelong commitment to dermatology and his contributions to the field. He now has the distinguished title of Honorary Member with the Academy.
Dr. Neal Bhatia is a board-certified dermatologist in San Diego, California. He serves as Director of Clinical Dermatology at Therapeutics Clinical Research. He is as chief medical editor for Practical Dermatology.He has a background in immunology and has interests in mechanisms of therapy, skin cancer, and medical dermatology. Aside from teaching at medical conferences, he sits on several editorial boards and is an active teacher for dermatologists, industry, and patients.
Dr. Jocelyn Strand graduated from Bastyr University in 2005 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Following her graduation, she established her practice in the Seattle area, working at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, as well as in a gastrointestinal specialty clinic. She returned to Minnesota in 2008 with the vision of increasing the availability, affordability, and awareness of naturopathic medicine. With that vision in mind, she opened her private practice at Lake Superior Natural Medicine, where she specialized in GI system disorders, Lyme disease, and auto-immune conditions as a Primary Care Provider through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Lela Altman ND MSA LAc began working in the medical field in 1998, first as a nursing assistant, then as a medical assistant. This experience inspired her to pursue an education in the natural health sciences. Dr. Altman earned her Bachelor’s in Science from The Evergreen State College where she focused on ethnobotany, biology and chemistry. She then earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Acupuncture at Bastyr University in 2011. She went on to complete a 3-year residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. While working as a chief resident she completed additional training in evidence-based medicine and carried out diabetes research. She created the Digestive Wellness clinic at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health which she currently supervises. Additionally, she teaches full-time at Bastyr University, has a private practice at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health and sees patients at the Center for Integrative Medicine at Virginia Mason Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Dr. Altman also is considered an expert in the field of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). She has written articles, given continuing medical education lectures and performed interviews in several venues on this topic.
Marvin Singh, M.D is an Integrative Gastroenterologist in San Diego, California, and a Member of the Board and Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Medicine. He is also trained and board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology/Hepatology. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Singh completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Health System followed by fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. He is also currently a voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSD in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health; prior to this, he has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at UCLA and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. Singh is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and many other societies. He is actively involved in the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Jared Jagdeo is a board certified dermatologist and physician-scientist with a passion for natural products and anti-oxidants for skin health. Dr. Jagdeo has engaged in skin research for over twenty years and loves helping educate patients and other physicians on how to combine treatment approaches in unique ways to achieve skin wellness. Dr. Hawkes is a board-certified dermatologist and Investigator at the Oregon Medical Research Center in Portland, Oregon. He completed his medical school and residency at the University of Utah. During medical school, he completed a fellowship in translational immunology in the NIH-HHMI Research Scholars Program. He also received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Investigation from Rockefeller University, where he was Chief Clinical Scholar and Principal and sub-Investigator on multiple human research protocols in the Laboratory for Investigative Dermatology. He has held academic appointments in the Departments of Dermatology at the University of Utah, University of California-Davis, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Hawkes is a current Councilor in the International Psoriasis Council and serves on the NPF Medical Board and Scientific Advisory Committee. He also serves as the official delegate of the AAD as a member of the international guidelines and workgroup committee for urticaria. His research has been funded by the NIH, NSF, NPF, and Dermatology Foundation, and he is the recipient of several teaching awards including NPF Outstanding Educator in Psoriatic Disease and Exceptional Teacher of the Year in the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai. His primary clinical and research interests include novel immune therapies for inflammatory conditions like psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, HS, alopecia areata, vitiligo, and urticaria.
Dr. Jenny Murase is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and the Director of Medical Dermatology Consultative Services and Patch Testing for the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group. She provides consultative services for diagnostic dilemmas, adult atopic dermatitis, women’s health in dermatology (such as pregnancy dermatoses and lactation issues), psychodermatology (delusions of parasitosis), and patch testing. She is the co-Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Women’s Dermatology and the Founding and Current Chair of the AAD Women’s Health Expert Resource Group. Dr. Murase received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine (UCI); she received the Dean’s award and was the first in the School of Medicine to graduate with distinction in clinical research. She completed dermatology residency at UCI, receiving honors from the North American Clinical Dermatologic Society, Women’s Dermatology Society (WDS), American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Pacific Dermatology Association, and California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery while in residency. Board certified in dermatology and active in clinical research and teaching, she was voted by the UCSF residents to be the best dermatology instructor among the adjunct clinical faculty in the department in 2010 and 2020. She serves on the board of the American Contact Dermatitis Society as the Contact Allergen Management Program Council Chair. She was the Chair of the San Francisco Dermatological Society for seven years and continues to serve on the board of the society and represent northern California on the AAD Advisory Board. She has been selected to be a course director at the World Congress, EADV, and AAD Annual meetings the past twelve years, directing over 25 symposia on Women’s Health Therapeutics. For her volunteer work in Africa and as a teacher, she has received Gold Recognition in the AAD Leadership Circle of Volunteerism, the AAD Members Making a Difference award in 2006, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2009. Dr. Murase has authored or coauthored more than 110 peer-reviewed book chapters and articles, and actively reviews for six major dermatology journals.
As director of the clinics for multicultural dermatology and for hair disorders, Dr. Agbai provides specialized, comprehensive care for all skin types. She also understands the structural differences of skin of color requiring highly specialized dermatologic care.
Dr. Agbai treats conditions such as acne-induced hyperpigmentation, hair thinning, melasma, and hidradenitis suppurativa, especially as these conditions relate to patients of color. Additionally, Dr. Agbai offers medical dermatology care and cosmetic procedures to patients of all skin types.
Dr. Agbai has engaged in clinical research in pigmentary disorders, hidradenitis suppurativa, cicatricial alopecia, and skin of color dermatology. Clive Liu, MD is the Director of the Psoriasis Treatment Center at Bellevue Dermatology and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. He received his medical degrees from New York University. His post graduate training include a psoriasis fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco followed by his dermatology residency at the University of Utah.
Dr. George Han an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell where he leads efforts in clinical research and teledermatology. He is the current Vice President of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, a member of the board of directors of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, a member of the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation, and an Associate of the International Eczema Council.
Dr. Tina Bhutani is a board certified dermatologist and clinical researcher practicing in San Francisco, California. She received her medical training at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine and completed her residency in dermatology at UCSF. Dr. Bhutani has an expertise in the treatment of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and other inflammatory skin diseases. In addition to seeing patients, she is a Associate Adjunct Professor in the Department of Dermatology at UCSF. She is passionate about improving the care and lives of patients with inflammatory skin disorders and is involved in many studies focusing on the development of new treatments for these diseases and learning more about mechanisms of disease initiation and maintenance. She has a particular interest in the impact of disease on patient quality of life and mental health as well as the use of wellness-based behavior modification to improve disease severity and reduce the risk of associated comorbidities. She has published over 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at national and international conferences on these topics. She is a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) Scientific Advisory committee and has received research grant funding from the NPF, the Dermatology Foundation, as well as Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA). She also serves as the current editor-in-chief for the journal Psoriasis: Targets and Therapy.
Anne Kennard is an obstetrician/gynecologist, integrative medicine physician, nutrition expert, herbalist and mom to a toddler. She is passionate about women's health in the body, mind, and spirit. She works as an OB/GYN and is the Director of Integrative Medicine and Physician Wellness Officer for Dignity Central Coast. Dr. Radha Mikkilineni has 20 years of experience in dermatology and practices the full range of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. With a background in biophysics and physiology, epidemiology and dermatopathology, Dr. Mikkilineni has a keen understanding of the science of the skin. Prior to moving to New York City she was the medical director of a private, group specialty dermatology practice in downtown Washington, DC and an Instructor of Dermatology and Pathology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Dr. Aunna Pourang is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine Medical Honors Program and is board-certified in family physician (Mayo Clinic) and integrative medicine (Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine). She is currently a dermatology resident at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Her interests include integrative dermatology, complex medical dermatology, global and preventive health, and antibiotic-stewardship.
After finishing Medical School and Dermatology Residency at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Bodemer completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She was the first Dermatologist to be board certified in both Dermatology and Integrative Medicine and currently is the only Dermatologist to serve on the Integrative Medicine Board. She has authored academic texts and curriculum and has spoken widely on a variety of topics related to Integrative Dermatology. She has always been drawn to exploring how lifestyle choices impact skin health and disease and feels that the most powerful role a physician can play is as an educator and guide, empowering people to get healthy and stay healthy.
Dr. Peter Lio is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, completed his internship in Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital, and his Dermatology training at Harvard where he served as Chief Resident in Dermatology. Dr. Lio is the founding director of the Chicago Integrative Eczema Center and has spoken nationally and internationally about atopic dermatitis, as well as alternative medicine.
Dr. Stacy McClure is a board-certified dermatologist and sees patients at Dermatology Associates of La Grange. She is member of the Chicago Dermatological Society, the Chicago Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. McClure earned her undergraduate degree in sociology at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1990. She earned her medical degree in 2000 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her internship in 2001 at Rush University Medical Center, and her residency in dermatology in 2006 at Northwestern University.
Dr. McClure went on to complete a two year research fellowship at Northwestern University focusing on clinical trials in dermatology. She also completed the LearnSkin Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program in 2022 and has a passion for integrative dermatology.
Dr. McClure was born and raised in Texas, and currently resides in La Grange with her husband and two children.
Dr. Kurt Ashack is an assistant professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University CHM, completed his internship at St. Vincent hospital in Indianapolis, and his dermatology training at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was the Chief Resident. He also completed the LearnSkin Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program in 2022 and strives to take a complete approach to patient care.
Dr. Ashack is currently a part owner and general dermatologist at the Dermatology Associates of West Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Daveluy is a professor and program director at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He earned a bachelor's in science from Michigan State University. He completed medical school and his dermatology residency at Wayne State University.
He holds special interests in teledermatology, noninvasive skin imaging, skin of color, integrative dermatology, and complex medical dermatology, including hidradenitis suppurativa. He is active on AAD committees, including Performance Measure and DataDerm Oversight. He is the past president of the Wayne County Medical Society and Michigan Dermatological Society. He serves on the board of directors of the HS Foundation and editorial board for the JAAD and JAAD Case Reports and is building a growing body of publications of his own. Carolyn Candido MD, a graduate of University of Southern California Family Medicine program is a board certified Family Medicine physician that specializes in Integrative Medicine. She is the first resident in her program to complete the University of Arizona Integrative Medicine track and the winner of the Weil Foundation grant. She has studied ayurvedic medicine, chinese medicine and functional medicine.
