After finishing Medical School and Dermatology Residency at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Bodemer completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She was the first Dermatologist to be board certified in both Dermatology and Integrative Medicine and currently is the only Dermatologist to serve on the Integrative Medicine Board. She has authored academic texts and curriculum and has spoken widely on a variety of topics related to Integrative Dermatology. Her focus within her practice is to provide a holistic cultural nutrition approach programs that assist women of color in the age ranges of 40 and up that are going through peri-menopause and menopause.

Douglas Preston’s career spans 40+years in professional esthetics. His business and practice management articles appear in many of the top trade journals and magazines. He is a frequent presenter at major spa and esthetics industry events, featured in podcasts, and has trained esthetics practitioners internationally. His recently published book, An Esthetician’s Guide to Growing A Successful Skincare Career, is a top-seller among ambitious working skincare professionals. Preston was selected as an official judge for The Skin Games in 2016, and again for 2017. In 2022 Preston was inducted into Dermascope magazine’s acclaimed “Academy of Legends”, a coveted distinction for individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the growth and excellence of the esthetics industry.

Preston is the creator of the Preston Comedone ExtractorTM, a special precision tool for the removal of follicular blockages in the skin, widely used by Estheticians throughout the world. He also created the popular Congestive Acne Therapist Certification program to help skincare professionals advance their acne treatment skills.

I am an academic dermatologist and dermatopathologist involved in bone marrow stem cell, regenerative medicine and translational research for more than 30 years. I was among the first to describe the trafficking and engraftment of bone marrow cells to wounded skin and the contribution of bone marrow cells to skin structures. I have been the principal investigator on protocols delivering bone marrow derived cells to wounds for more than 20
years and was the first to describe the delivery of fresh bone marrow aspirate and mixed cultured bone marrow cells to the chronic wounds.

I have been awarded five IND’s by the FDA for the delivery of stem cells and extracellular vesicles to patients with burns, epidermolysis bullosa and chronic wounds. I am among the first to demonstrate that many of the healing effects attributed to bone marrow stem cells are mediated by the extracellular vesicles they produce. My laboratory was the first to show that structural elements including Collagen VII are delivered by bone marrow stem cell derived extracellular vesicles. Our contributions have led to a better understanding of the mechanism by which bone marrow stem cells contribute to healing and tissue regeneration. Having worked in this area for years, I am well versed in all recent regulatory aspects of cell-based therapeutics.

My expertise in bone marrow stem cells began some time ago as a graduate. Since then I have completed postdoctoral training, medical school, residence and fellowship in dermatology and dermatopathology. I am a practicing academic dermatologist and dermatolopathologist with 25 years’ experience with particular interests in the histologic evaluation of wounds both clinically and in numerous preclinical models. I have been working with bioengineered skin materials for more than 30 years and have described several key histological features associated with the application of these materials to patients.

I have served as a consultant, NIH study section member and moderator for wound based and stem cell projects. I have an
extensive and diverse history of close collaboration with several highly regarded stem cell, bone marrow, biomedical engineering, burn/critical care and wound healing investigators. My unique training and experience have allowed me to comfortably move between these
sometimes-distinct fields.

Dr. George Han an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell where he leads efforts in clinical research and teledermatology. He is the current Vice President of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, a member of the board of directors of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, a member of the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation, and an Associate of the International Eczema Council.

Dr. Hadar Lev-Tov is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive research experience. Throughout his training and in daily practice, he has always believed that the key to achieving health for his patients is grounded in his ability to truly connect to their experiences and perceptions of health and well-being. Maimonides, one of the greatest philosophers of all time realized that human knowledge, often represented as "science," is limited. James B. LaValle, R.Ph., C.C.N. M.T. DHM, DHPh. N.D.(trad) is an internationally recognized clinical pharmacist, author, and board-certified clinical nutritionist, with over 40 years of clinical experience in natural products, lifestyle, drug/nutrient depletion, compounding pharmacy, and peptides. LaValle is best known for his expertise in performance health and integrative care. 

He has served thousands of patients, using his metabolic model for health, at his clinics in Orange County, CA, Austin, TX and formerly at LaValle Metabolic Institute, in Cincinnati Ohio. He taught for 18 years as an appointed adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy pioneering the course “Survey of Natural Medicine”, served as faculty at the College of Medicine at U.C., also while serving as a preceptorship for both physicians and pharmacy students.  He is former faculty at the New York College of Chiropractic and Oriental Medicine as an instructor in the Master of Nutrition degree as well as Adjunct Faculty for the Masters of Integrative Medicine program at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

He is Chair of the International Peptide Society where he organizes and educates physicians on various application of peptide therapies including applications in aesthetics, IV therapy, weight management and performance enhancement. 

LaValle gained national recognition as National Clinician of the Year in 2012 by the Natural Products Association for his pioneering work in furthering the professional standards of integrative care, and in 2017 as Educator of the Year for American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. 

Jim was named one of the “50 Most Influential Pharmacists” by American Druggist magazine and was one of nine Americans selected by Senator Tom Harkin, to participate in the inaugural Dietary Supplement Education Alliance & Dietary Supplement Information Bureau. As such, he is often called on by media for interviews on a variety of health topics due to his 
expertise and engaging style. 

He is author of more than 26 books including, “Cracking the Metabolic Code,” “Nutritional Cost of Drugs,” “Your Blood Never Lies”.  and his latest book, Peptide Handbook, A Professional’s Guide to Peptide Therapeutics.  In addition, he has authored 20 e-Books and four databases with information on a variety of topics, ranging from natural therapeutic decision tools, herb drug interactions, drug induced nutrient depletion, and professional monographs on 240 vitamin, mineral, nutraceuticals, and herbal compounds.  He has also authored well over 200 articles, as well as being published in peer-reviewed literature.  This year he will release, Optimizing Athletic Performance through Precision Biomarker Evaluation and “Turning Back the Clock”, How to Combat Metaflammation and Inflammaging to Maximize Longevity.

In 2010, Jim and his team developed personalized weight loss and wellness programs for Lifetime Fitness using his Metabolic Code approach for health and wellness.  He was the clinical director for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Performance Health Program. Organizations including Corvette Race Team, Orlando Magic, Chicago Blackhawks, San Jose Sharks, Golden State Warriors, Austin FS, and Colorado Rapids have relied on his expertise for performance, resiliency and return to play programs.

Doctor Jason Derico attended Utah State University for his undergraduate education and the National University of Natural Medicine for his medical degree. He completed internship in Naturopathic Dermatology and a family practice residency. He has completed additional training in Naturopathic Dermatology and Aesthetics. Doctor Derico's practice specializes in naturopathic medicine, aesthetics, and optimization of health through nutrition.

Dr. Hawkes is a board-certified dermatologist and Investigator at the Oregon Medical Research Center in Portland, Oregon. He completed his medical school and residency at the University of Utah. During medical school, he completed a fellowship in translational immunology in the NIH-HHMI Research Scholars Program. He also received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Investigation from Rockefeller University, where he was Chief Clinical Scholar and Principal and sub-Investigator on multiple human research protocols in the Laboratory for Investigative Dermatology. He has held academic appointments in the Departments of Dermatology at the University of Utah, University of California-Davis, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Hawkes is a current Councilor in the International Psoriasis Council and serves on the NPF Medical Board and Scientific Advisory Committee. He also serves as the official delegate of the AAD as a member of the international guidelines and workgroup committee for urticaria. His research has been funded by the NIH, NSF, NPF, and Dermatology Foundation, and he is the recipient of several teaching awards including NPF Outstanding Educator in Psoriatic Disease and Exceptional Teacher of the Year in the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai. His primary clinical and research interests include novel immune therapies for inflammatory conditions like psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, HS, alopecia areata, vitiligo, and urticaria.

Dr. McGee is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Physician and the Director of Microbiome Research at the Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Clinically, Dr. McGee specializes in inflammatory bowel disease-associated dermatoses and enjoys co-managing challenging cases with her GI colleagues. On the research side, she is interested in understanding the role of the microbiome and epigenetics in a wide range of human pathology including immune dysregulation, accelerated aging, increased systemic disease burden, and disruption of the gut-skin axis. Currently, her research is funded by an NIH/NIAMS K23 Award. In the past, she was awarded a Visiting Scholar Award from the Human Skin Disease Resource Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a La Roche-Posay Research Grant, a Women’s Dermatologic Society Academic Research Award, and a Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Stern Grant.

Dr. Joseph Alban is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Board Certified Herbalist. He has run a private practice in New York City for seventeen years.

Dr. Alban graduated from Touro College’s Graduate Program in Oriental Medicine, obtaining a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and completed a Doctor of Acupuncture at Five Branches Univerisity. He completed a Chinese Medicine hospital residency in Hunan, China where he trained in acupuncture, Chinese medicine dermatology, and Tui Na medical massage.

He has received the Traditional Chinese Medicine Dermatology Diploma from world-renowned expert Mazin Al-Khafaji. Dr. Alban sits on the board of the International Traditional Chinese Medicine Dermatology Association (ITCMDA). He is also the Traditional Chinese Medicine editor for Learn Skin and on the board for the Integrative Dermatology Symposium. Katherine Varman, MD is a dermatologist who works in private practice in Northern California. She graduated from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, during which she completed an additional year as a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. After an intern year in Chattanooga, TN, she returned to UNC-CH for dermatology residency. Dr. Varman specializes in treating inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis with a unique blend of conventional and functional medicine practices. Dr. Rajani Katta is a board-certified dermatologist, the author of nine books, and a member of the clinical faculty of both the Baylor College of Medicine and the McGovern Medical School. She is the author of numerous medical journal articles on the link between skin and diet and allergic reactions of the skin.

Dr. Kirsner is Chairman and the endowed Harvey Blank Professor in the Dr. Phillip Frost Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery and Professor of Public Health Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

He is Chief of Dermatology at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and Jackson Memorial Hospital and directs the University of Miami Hospital Wound Center.

Dr. Kirsner received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, his medical degree from the University of Miami and a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Miami, after he completed his clinical training. His clinical training included internal medicine, a clinical and research fellowship in wound healing and dermatology at the University of Miami. His research interests include Wound Healing and Skin Cancer Epidemiology.

Dr. Kirsner serves as one of 3 academic editors for the journal Wound Repair and Regeneration and on the editorial boards for a number of other journals in dermatology and wound healing.

Dr. Kirsner serves in national leadership positions in both Wound Healing and Dermatology, including being Vice President of the American Academy of Dermatology and serving on the Wound Healing Society Board of Directors. In addition to career development awards, foundation, industry sponsored funding and CDC funding, he currently leads or is part of a number of NIH funded grants. Independent of books, book chapters and abstracts, he has published over 550 articles.

Dr. Rubaina Dang is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in California. She specializes in a variety of hormonal, gastrointestinal and dermatological related conditions, providing a comprehensive approach on healing from the inside out. She is passionate about regenerative aesthetics, serving as a PRP educator and trainer to the medical community. In addition, she has been a hair health educator at Nutrafol and is currently serving as a primary investigator for various clinical trials at the Integrative Research Institute. She is passionate about utilizing integrative therapeutics to support the body internally as well as topically, empowering others to achieve healthy skin from within.

Dr. Daveluy is a professor and program director at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He earned a bachelor's in science from Michigan State University. He completed medical school and his dermatology residency at Wayne State University.

He holds special interests in teledermatology, noninvasive skin imaging, skin of color, integrative dermatology, and complex medical dermatology, including hidradenitis suppurativa. He is active on AAD committees, including Performance Measure and DataDerm Oversight. He is the past president of the Wayne County Medical Society and Michigan Dermatological Society. He serves on the board of directors of the HS Foundation and editorial board for the JAAD and JAAD Case Reports and is building a growing body of publications of his own. He lives across the border in Windsor, Ontario, Canada with his husband and two very spoiled dogs
