This course will review common bacterial skin infections and different treatment options for them.

This lesson will review common viral skin infections and exanthems. Novel and integrative treatment options will be discussed as well.
This course will identify the most common parasitic skin infestations along with their differential diagnoses. Basic and integrative treatments will be reviewed.
After finishing Medical School and Dermatology Residency at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Bodemer completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She was the first Dermatologist to be board certified in both Dermatology and Integrative Medicine and currently is the only Dermatologist to serve on the Integrative Medicine Board. She has authored academic texts and curriculum and has spoken widely on a variety of topics related to Integrative Dermatology. She has always been drawn to exploring how lifestyle choices impact skin health and disease and feels that the most powerful role a physician can play is as an educator and guide, empowering people to get healthy and stay healthy.
Dr. Rahbar is a board certified physician dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She received her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and Emory University. Prior to entering medical school, she worked as an English teacher in Argentina before traveling through South America to learn Spanish. After completing four years of medical training at Vanderbilt Medical School she underwent residency training in dermatology at the University of Virginia. She has practiced dermatology in New York, Virginia and is planning to start her practice in Charleston SC in 2025. In her free time she enjoys running, yoga, surfing and ceramics with her family.
