Elizabeth Usedom is a 4th year medical student at Drexel University, expected to graduate in May 2018. She graduated from University of California at Santa Barbara in 2010 with a degree in molecular, cellular and developmental biology. She went on to complete a master’s in medical science at Drexel University in 2014. Elizabeth is passionate about dermatology and believes the environment has a strong impact on skin health through infectious disease, nutrition, exercise and stress. Over the last 2 years, Elizabeth has discovered a passion for infectious disease as it relates to skin health through the study of common viruses and bacteria. She has worked directly with underserved communities to better their skin and overall health. She believes patient care is best achieved with an open ear, an individualized plan and effective education on diagnoses and treatments.
